I don’t know how to use a microscope
The Eggzamin equipment has been designed for ease-of-use. Our image analysis and online training are available to help you learn to identify parasites. Be sure to read the microscope manual to familiarize yourself with the components of your equipment.
I received my kit, I’m not sure how much water to add to the flotation solution bottle?
You can fill your bottle all the way to the cap if you like. You will know your solution is correct if you see sediment at the bottom of the bottle.
I haven’t bought a kit, but want the online service?
The Eggzamin specialized equipment is optimized to work with our online service. At this point we can only support customers with our system.
I can buy a kit for $50 elsewhere and get a microscope for $150. Why do I need to buy this kit?
Not all kits are created equal. The Eggzamin team spent over a year analyzing equipment to identify the highest quality at the best price. The kit is designed for simplicity yet offers professional quality microscopes. As you need certain features to ensure success while doing a quantitative count we needed to customize the chosen microscope to make it suit your testing needs. We also realize how critical parasite identification and support is – that’s why an important aspect of the Eggzamin program includes the help of an expert.
