My pipette gets clogged when I’m trying to load the slide?
You can use the tweezers to remove the plug or tap it on the side of the cup to remove the plug.

I’m having a hard time getting the fluid in the slide?
It helps to have the slide flat when filling. If you are conducting multiple samples and there continues to be an air bubble, you may want to use a gentle pipe cleaner or let it dry between tests, or use a hair dryer on a cool setting to blow out the excess liquid in the chamber.

How often should I test?
Parasites know when weather conditions are ideal to exit the body and have the best chance for survival. Spring and fall are peak seasons. But this really depends on your region. If you don’t see eggs in the sample it may mean that the adult worms are not shedding eggs at that time and within a week or two testing again will show an infestation. Therefore, regular testing is suggested.

I can’t see anything through my eyepiece (aperture) Your kit comes with a 10x eyepiece.  Remove the eyepiece cover and put the eye piece in it’s place.  Also check to make sure that your microscope is on and the intensity knob is open (see components guide).
